Fix Steps
Step 1: 1. Stop immediately — let controller cool 30 minutes in shade
Step 2: 2. Check controller housing location (usually under battery or in frame downtube)

Step 4: 4. Inspect wiring near controller for melted insulation — short circuit indicator
Step 5: 5. If controller housing is damaged or smells burnt: controller replacement needed (~$80-120)
